Drummer Steve Bruce's book "THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE" is out and we've managed to get 50 copies of the first batch (which are in themselves numbered and limited) signed by ALL the band. Strictly first come first served.
Cock Sparrer Featuring Dan Hady - England Belongs To Me - 09/03/2010
Cock Sparrer have been back in the studio and Re-recorded ENGLAND BELONGS TO ME. We're not normally a fan of re-records here at Oi HQ as bands very rarely better the original. But dare we say it that Sparrer have suprised us all once again by producing a version which has more energy than a factory of Red Bull!
The reason for the re-record is that British UFC fighter Dan "THE OUTLAW" Hardy (www.danhardymma.com) uses the song as his intro music to the ring (octagon). The boys invited Dan down to the recording and he provided the opening Oi Oi's and sang backing vocals. Thankfully he was a top bloke and actually a very decent singer as no-one fancied telling someone who's day job is fighting, that his vocals weren't good enough!!
